Cold Water Survival Commercial (CWSC)

COURSE AIM

The aim of this course is to provide offshore Platform and Marine vessel crew members with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully apply priorities to aid in rescue and increase survival time in the event of a cold water immersion.

COURSE AIM 8 HR. CHUET

The aim of this course is to provide offshore helicopter passengers with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully abandon an upright ditched helicopter and egress underwater from an inverted helicopter in cold water environments.  Training with Compressed Air emergency breathing apparatus can be added to this course.

COURSE AIM 16 HR. CWS/HUET

The aim of this course is to provide personnel working and traveling on or over cold water with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform in emergency situations associated with platforms, vessels and aircraft ditching emergencies, techniques to increase survival following egress, and to participate to the maximum extent in rescue efforts.  Training with Compressed Air emergency breathing apparatus can be added to this course.

Accidental Immersion + Rescue (AIR)

The aim of this course is to provide shore-based crew members working over or near cold water with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively respond to an accidental cold water immersion, increase short-term survival, perform self- rescue, and aid in the rescue of others.

Commercial Fisherman Drill Conductor Course

Covers all aspects of mandatory drills required for commercial fisherman.
