Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET)

Course Aim 8 Hour OHS/HUET
The aim of this course is to provide offshore helicopter pilots, crew, and passengers with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully abandon an upright ditched helicopter and egress underwater from an inverted helicopter in cold water environments, utilizing an emergency breathing system (compressed air). 
 
Course Aim 16 Hour OHS/HUET, spanning two days

The aim of this course is to provide personnel working and traveling on or over cold water with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform in emergency situations associated with platforms, vessels and aircraft ditching emergencies, techniques to increase survival following egress, and to participate to the maximum extent in rescue efforts.

Cold Water Survival Commercial (CWSC)

COURSE AIM

The aim of this course is to provide offshore Platform and Marine vessel crew members with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully apply priorities to aid in rescue and increase survival time in the event of a cold water immersion.

COURSE AIM 8 HR. CHUET

The aim of this course is to provide offshore helicopter passengers with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully abandon an upright ditched helicopter and egress underwater from an inverted helicopter in cold water environments.  Training with Compressed Air emergency breathing apparatus can be added to this course.

COURSE AIM 16 HR. CWS/HUET
